Know of an athlete who had a great week of competition? Nominate him or her to be recognized as a Star Tribune Metro Athlete of the Week. Each Tuesday throughout the 2009-2010 school year, seven metro area athletes will be honored based on his or her performance during the previous week. You can nominate an athlete for consideration using this form. Because we like to honor as many athletes as possible, we prefer to recognize each athlete just once during a season.

All Athletes of the Week nominations must be made by 5 p.m. each Sunday for consideration. Providing the information requested here helps us consider the athlete. Be sure to attach a color head shot of the athlete.
