Based on the experience of Medicare patients, the federal government calculates the death rates and readmission rates for patients with three common conditions at Minnesota hospitals. It also ranks them as better, worse or the same as the national rate, a statistical middleground. Use the tabs on the top right-hand side of the table to switch charts (one compares death rates within 30 days of admission; the other tracks patients who were rehospitalized within 30 days.)In cases where no rates or comparisons are given, the hospital had too few patients to count.
