Star Tribune 50

The Star Tribune 50 is a measure of the largest publicly held companies with headquarters in Minnesota ranked by revenue. This year the Star Tribune cut the list to the 50 largest by revenue. Another 30 companies were considered - they are listed in the revenue tab. Data for the 50 largest companies also includes each company’s total profits from continuing operations, assets and market capitalization. The list excludes public companies that do not trade on major exchanges, closely held companies, which usually do not disclose financial data, cooperatives and fraternal benefits organizations. Companies domiciled elsewhere but who have management headquarters in Minnesota, including Medtronic and Pentair, are included.
